For the Love of You, Inc. a non-profit organization was founded by Ms. Dawn Ferguson in Miami-Dade County 2006. This organization benefits disadvantaged youth and foster care youth by giving access to professional hair care services. Dawn Ferguson, a hair care professional, founder of For the Love of You, Inc. has donated countless hours and resources toward this endeavor, time and money by providing professional hair care services for disadvantaged youth, through several non-profit agencies. Ms. Ferguson has championed her cause by servicing a number of agencies such as, The Children's Home Society, Alonzo Mourning Charities, and Carrfour Supportive Housing. There are hundreds of children in these programs, and there are over 300 foster care homes in Miami-Dade County

For The Love Of You Org. has partnered with Community Professionals to conduct open-discussion workshops with the Fly Kids to discuss; health and hair care, social development, business, relationships, etiquette, and how to build their moral and
self-esteem. These forums allow the Fly Kids to voice their views and learn how men and women can have struggles in life and can 'bounce back' from life tribulations and still succeed within our communities and mainstream society.
Workshops are held every other
Wednesday: March 4,11,18, April 1, 15, 29/ May 6, 20/ June 3,17, / July 1, 15, 2009.
